Our Mission
With the aim of opening doors to a future full of opportunities, our main mission is to provide you with the necessary tools, such as computers, memory devices, and mice, to foster your education in this field. Additionally, we create an environment conducive to learning by offering support in terms of food, transportation, and mental health care. We care about addressing the basic needs of our students in order to reduce dropout rates and ensure regular attendance in programming classes. Our aim is to empower young individuals and create an environment that enables their full potential to flourish.

Our vision is to build a future where every young person has equal access to programming education and can reach their full potential. We strive to be leaders in youth training in web development, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a digital and ever-evolving world. We are driven by the desire to transform lives through education and to be a reference in the field of programming, motivating more people to support this cause. By doing so, we can continue to create meaningful and sustainable opportunities for the youth in the Recode the future community.
Our REASONS
At Recode the Future, we recognize that inequality, lack of opportunities, and poor education contribute to youth delinquency and criminality.
Improving education coverage and quality is one of the fundamental challenges currently facing the city of Medellín.

Despite the current gender gap among programming professionals (with only an estimated 14% being women), Recode the Future aims to gradually reduce this gap.
